Progressive inde/pop/rock. Orchestrated songwriting. Newly remastered with additional track and new cover art.
6 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Progressive Rock, ROCK: Modern Rock
Details:
In the fall of 2004 You Me & Iowa recorded this first EP, âBigger Than Bostonâ, and quickly sold their first 1,000 copies, as they toured all over the west. Before the second shipment of CDs was ordered, the band had the songs remixed and remastered, adding an additional track and new cover art. Here are the fruits of those labors.
âIt's edgy, upbeat, and constantly being played on loop when I fire up my stereo. This EP is a great introduction to You Me & Iowa. Their use of cross genre sounds and standard west-coast indie rock feel (if you like Rooney and want less of an emo feel, you'll love these guys) are a good reminder that there are great bands who don't need to damage your eardrums to get their point across. Solid EP, highly recommended.â â Tyler M. / review on cdbaby.com
Recorded in August - December of 2004 in Los Angeles and produced by Ryan Ayers and You Me & Iowa.
