FOLK: Modern Folk, ROCK: Folk Rock
Details:
There are many inspiring musicians in the world that will never get signed by a major record company or hit the big time. Their fans won't see them on MTV, or Top 20 Countdown, but all the same, these independent artists are making an impact on the music scene. Canada's Nancy Beaudette is one such artist. Her live performances are filled with joy, reverence, and a gentle self-effacing humor.
Nancy has shared the stage with Canadian Juno winners Steve Bell and Debra Klaussan, participated in numerous Canadian festivals, and has appeared on various cable programs, including the New-RO's show: "In Good Faith".
The release of "HOME" makes this Beaudette's fifth recording. It is produced by Andrew Horrocks of A.M.E. Studio in Kitchener, Ontario. Horrocks also produced her last CD, "Road to Freedom" in 1999, which was acclaimed by the Catholic Registers Dave Wang as, "the best Catholic recording he's heard over the past year".
