Yoram Schaker has been playing guitar and writing songs for over 20 years. He plays and writes mostly for his family and friends. A few years a go Yoram decided to put it down on tape. Soon he learned that tape is not quite the latest thing, so Yoram invested a few dollars and started Yoâs Home Brewed Music (YHBM). YHBM is the exclusive publishing company and recording studio for Yoram Schaker. This is another way of saying that Yoram is their only customer. Out of YHBM came Yoramâs debut album called Testing the Waters.
Testing the waters is a combination of songs that sound from traditional American folk to rock and roll that is someplace between 1965 and 1989.

Yoram performs occasionally at open mike venues including McNallyâs Pub at Westminster, MA on Thursday Nights. The open mike at McNallys is hosted by Heidi-Jo Hanson and you can find out more about it at this web site. .
