Beautiful Feet (www.527music.com) began as worship band for the 24:7 worship service at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. After three years of serving in that capacity they decided take their music to a wider audience through playing shows and leading youth conferences around the Midwest.
Over the course of the last four years the band has evolved significantly in its sound and personnel. In 2001 they released their first CD under the band name "The 24:7 band". In 2002, they landed on the band name "Beautiful Feet" and released the CD entitled "Beautiful Wonderful" which is a collection of corporate worship songs that were mainly used at the 24:7 service.
At the beginning of 2003 the band felt that they needed to make a significant jump forward in the production quality of their recordings. This led them to hire producer Greg Hagan to help them take things to the next level. In July and August of 2003, they spent a few weeks in Nashville, TN recording their third CD entitled, "Passing Through". This recording shows great maturity in production quality and songwriting.
Beautiful Feet exists to call people to radical joy through total surrender to Jesus. They seek to live this out through their lives as well as their music.
