Nafesh, the Hebrew word for soul, is the source from which music at its best can be expressed to all people. Therefore, it is through the soul of an individual that if guided properly could bring about a positive change into the world. Nafesh as an independent Israelite record company and as an entity that represents the soul will serve as the vehicle that fosters and guides artists in the right direction, thus, to promote great success and prosperity in the Israelite community.
Nafesh, in its beginning stages, have been blessed with the release of its first music CD entitled âFirst Fruitsâ. First Fruits is a collaboration of Israelite artists who have come together to represent Yah with song and praise. Children of Yisrael is group of Israelite musicians, artists, and producers who share in the oneness of proclaiming Yah's name throughout the earth through song, dance, poetry, and spoken word. The holy scriptures teach that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Yah is Lord of the world; and therefore, this is the ultimate goal of our band and the music that we deliver and represent.
When we proclaim the name of Yah throughout the earth, there are many different ways to accomplish this desired outcome. Israelite music consists of singing praises to Yah and revealing socials issues that affect the Israelite community and the World aboard. One interesting aspect of our music is the personal approach we take to heal the individual soul, and thus to bring peace to the whole body, soul, spirit and mind. Our music is filled with soulful melodies and yet, while the soul is being entertained, there is an inspiring element in our music that uplifts one from pain, heartache, stress, and depression.
