David Overthrow performs regularly in the New York City and Connecticut areas. He has toured with his band throughout the states and in Europe. In recent years Dave has performed with Stanley Clarke, Mike Stern, Larry Coryell, Frank Gambalie, John Abercrombie Trey Anastasio, Zakk Wylde and other notable artists.
In addition to recording and performing, Dave has been a member of the National Guitar Workshop Bass Faculty since itâs inception in 1983, directs the Bass Summit at the Workshop and also offers several bass seminars. To learn more about Dave's bass seminars, visit his website or call the National Guitar Workshop Dave is the Director of Music and Head of Jazz studies at the Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut and also currently writes columns for Bass Guitar Magazine.
