Bullet's musical primer was when he was four, being in awe of his aunt playing along to Sousa marches on a practice pad from her high school band, having her show him how to hold the sticks and then going home and imitating her, using ladders from his toy fire truck. Many drums, guitars, cornets, trumpets, baritone euphoniums and keyboards later, he began writing his own songs, the first in high school. He performed for many years, from the midwest to the west coast and Japan, appearing with and/or opening for The Carpenters, Bo Diddly, Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks, Ronny McDowell and Stephanie Winslow, besides countless radio and TV appearances and specials.

With a backlog of material and, having many songs recorded by other artists, this is the first release of material which has been in the works for a very long time. Bullet has engineered and produced recordings with musicians who are the best at what they do, many of whom helped him on this project, a grab bag of songs written over decades by an artist who definitely has something to say.
