This is the 2nd CD (2010) of Kenji Komatsuzaki + Takashi Hamada, an unique unit of hammer dulcimer & guitar, following after the 1st CD "Canal Crow" (2008).
It contains original hammer dulcimer music with guitar, which music is based on ragtime, march, Japanese folk song, Celtic traditional etc.
Mainly newly composed by Takashi Hamada, the guitarist, though beautiful title tune was composed by Kenji Komatsuzaki, the hammer dulcimer player.
And also includes the works of Leroy Anderson, Turlough O'Carolan.
Highly recommended for hammer dulcimer or ragtime guitar fan, and also recommend the listeners of new age music.

PROFILE:

Kenji Komatsuzaki (hammer dulcimer)
Japanese hammer dulcimer player. In 1986, he was moved by the video of David Holt, an American folk singer, playing hammer dulcimer. Since then he learned it by himself. In 1988, he formed "HARD TO FIND", his Celtic quartet which is in action until now.

Takashi Hamada (acoustic guitar)
Japanese ragtime guitarist (same as HAMADA Takasi). He has released a lot of independent guitar solo CDs from 1992. In 1999, he released CD & Score of "Climax Rag" from TAB Guitar School in Tokyo, and was admired as foremost classic ragtime guitarist.
