Kit Dylan Arrieta is a musician whom has taken the art of songwriting and placed it into a unique category with her signature tales of love, lust, and desire.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Dylan migrated to the United States of America via Honolulu, Hawaii with her family at the tender age of five. Raised in a musical household, Dylan began playing guitar and singing while attending the third grade on Oahu. She developed her musicianship throughout the years and while attending college in Seattle, Washington, Dylan was inspired to write and perform her original diary of songs at local coffee houses, bars, and clubs, and other venues throughout the Pacific Northwest.

As an audience began to take an interest in her music, Dylan surprised her fans with the release of her first album, "Cry on Cue" in December 2008. This two-disc CD also contained three music videos. The song titled, "Suffocated," was filmed on location in Downtown and West Seattle. The songs "Cry on Cue" and "Cylon 8" were filmed on location in Miami, Florida. The entire album, compiled of songs written during a time of self-exploration and heart-felt desire, received a Grammy Nomination in 2010 under the category "Alternative Pop/Rock."

The quality of songwriting that Kit Dylan Arrieta possesses inspires the listener to dwell in places their life and heart may have ventured, but ultimately her poetic style of storytelling seals the notions that love is limitless and bound only by the interpreter.

Recently, Dylan returned to her childhood home in Hawaii to be present with her family after a long hiatus. Dylan performs as an acoustic solo artist throughout Hawaii and also records and performs with her band, which is compiled of a diverse group of musicians that aspire her to create songs that are hard-driven and empowering.

During a recent interview, Dylan acknowledge that Dave Matthews, Damien Rice, and the Indigo Girls were a few of her musical influences that may have inspired her to weave her tapestry of songs.
