After spending most of his life as a working guitarist playing multiple genres and touring around the U.S, Kiko Ramirez has finally been persuaded to record and release his own music. Through the years his focus has been playing Jazz, preferring big band sounds, and playing Latin music for the same reason.

Kikos music is the result of an accumulation of years of experience playing all styles and then bringing to bare his knowledge of music and his songwriting skills into one impressive package. For his new release âPuras Cuerdasâ, Kikos choice of style is Latin with a Jazz influence.

Originally from Laredo Texas, Kiko Ramirez has spent the last thirty years using Austin TX as his home base. During which time he has recorded and toured the country many times playing with Jazz big bands and Tejano bands. Expect to hear more releases soon from this very experienced working guitarist who is now a new solo recording artist.
