John O'Neill, BMI (Alternative Country, R&B, Rock and Country Rock): The forward edge music scene of his home town Austin, Texas helped shape the songwriting talents of John O'Neill but his songs carry his own brand. Guitar trained by Dick Gimble, the son of Legendary fiddle player Johnny Gimble, John has carved out an innovative acoustic writing style that cries out â¦listen to me! John is a multi-talented musician, singer/songwriter and recording artist. Following the risky, lonely, but ultimately successful path of many of country musicâs greats he writes performs and records his own music.
