The project developed from personal experience and extensive research into the most effective way to calm babies. White noise is the sound babies hear in the womb. White noise, like white light, contains all frequencies of the spectrum. It is the 'Shhh' sound that carers instinctively produce when soothing a baby. Progressively utilized in modern neonatal units, white noise recordings have been scientifically proven to induce sleep and combat restlessness, colic, and crying in babies.
