Hailing from Orange County, CA, the core of the band, made up of brothers Anton (guitar/vocals), and Alan Hoetker (bass/vocals), spent countless hours in and around the Southern California beach community where they fell in love with punk, classic rock, and other various sounds that made up the soundtracks to their youth. After many years of hard work, maturing there sound, and musically taking bits from everything they loved, the band was ready to make push.

Orange Blossom Special hit 2010 hard and heavy as theâ Official After Party bandâ of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. The band followed the entire 2-month tour booking shows, after parties, and hustling CDâs daily to cover touring expenses. âIt was, by far, the best time of our life,â Anton says, âMeeting new people, playing anywhere and everywhere. Just doing the tour, spreading the fun, we became a bigger, better band.

2011 has more of the same in store for Orange Blossom Special. Along with being the Official Party Band of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival again this Summer/Fall 2011, the band will be promoting their first full-length release, âCocktails & Treasure Maps: The Singles Collectionâ, due out August 23,2011.

The band is very versatile and has been fortunate to share the stage with a wide variety of bands such as Flogging Molly, Avenged Sevenfold, Cadillac Tramps, Airbourne, Throw Rag, U.S. Bombs, Stone Sour, Hell Yeah and Tiger Army to name a few.

At the end of the day itâs still Rock n Roll! Not something you can read about or see in a magazine, but something the band believes is best experienced Live and in the Flesh. Orange Blossom Special will be bouncing around the country and hopefully the globe spreading their infectiously fun brand of Rock n Roll, their love of great music, and all things lively throughout 2011 and beyond.
