In the follow up to âZeldas Parkâ(2004) Suss von Ahn once again shows her strength as a songwriter, pianist and singer. Most of the tracks on the new album are a mix of jazz and pop with a lot of attention paid to arrengements and colour extravaganza from Stockholm Session Strings and Stockholm Power Horns. âTrain to Stockholmâ and âGotta beâ has been released as singles in Scandinavia and has got a lot of airplay.
Extraordinary musicians like Per Lindvall on drums and Mats Öberg on harmonica contributes. Most of the songs are written by Suss but two covers are included. One of them âAlone again,naturallyâ (Gilbert O´Sullivan) is taken from Suss´Japanese album âCry me a riverâ(Spice of Life) and the other is Nat King Cole´s âStraighten up and fly rightâ in a wonderful a cappella version.
