Bee Speed fuses the many influences and techniques of bluegrass, latin, rock, and world music to create a sound that is all its own.
On the electric banjo, Charles Butler has found a distinct voice, one that is light on twang and heavy on tones and articulation more usual in the guitar world. Bassist Christian Grizzard and drummer Justin Amaral are at ease laying down intricate foundations in a multitude of styles. Together, the three members of Bee Speed are driven by a common desire to push themselves and the music in new directions.
