This is a recording that we completed sometime in the 90's. I'm not sure when but it's not important anyway. Jim and I used a few different players for this project that give the sound a special vibe. I completed this project and am making it available to the public for the first time for the lead singer (Jim Johnson) who recently passed after battling cancer. His vocals were always an inspiration to me and at one time we were best of friends and bandmates, playing clubs in New England. I think you'll see why he was such a positive force and why musician's considered Jim an East Coast treasure. In addition to vocals, Jim also plays some guitar, keyboards and harmonica. I play guitar, bass, keyboards and back-up vocals. Jim and I used a few drummers on the project and both are unique and drive the sound. Stetson Howland of W.A.S.P fame injected his wild style on Welcome to the New World, Alive, Circus and Creatures of Habit. Stet recorded his parts on a small Tascam recorder in one afternoon, in the living room of his mother's home. Who else could have pulled that off? All other drum tracks were performed by Bob Peloquin who did equally well with great efficiency. I hope you guys find something in the tunes that make you stop and thank God for the simple pleasures we share through sound. Savor every minute.
