Russ and Scott Bell grew up in Houston, Texas before moving to California (kal-ee-for-nee-a) in 1980.
Country roots had set in by then and they just could not outrun that twangy influence. Their harmony voices weave tightly together to produce a fluid sound achieved only by a lifetime of singing together.

They grew up playing the cover tunes of Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, The Eagles and the righteous melodies of whatever church their family happened to be attending.

Their original songs bare self-expression and humor which echo their lives and the lives of those around them- an art form they are continually exploring and refining.
