Sleeping with Susan are a group of Irish musicians who come from such varied musical backgrounds its no small wonder they ever met at all. The influences of Irish
trad/folk, from both Brendan Monaghan (vocals, uilean pipes and whistles) and Brendan Gorman (drums, percussion and vocals), fight a running battle with rock influences from Stevie Darby (vocals and bass guitar), Larry McConville (guitars and vocals) and Tony O'Hara (vocals and keyboards) throughout this 10 track original recording. To 'referee' this confrontation and help 'smooth out the edges' is the country music influence of Michael McGrath (guitars and vocals). When the dust eventually settled after recording the end result was an upbeat and very original sound. Anyone interested in something slightly different will hopefully find 'Susan' a breath of fresh air.
