Details:
The Spitting Image was founded in Boston, MA and relocated to Nashville, TN in 2006. Featuring Guitarist and Vocalist Jonathan Crone, their powerful melodic structure and relentless back-beat have blended with elements of many different types of R&B and classical music to form an extremely original and indicative sound that none of their listeners will forget. With a solid line-up behind him, John Toomey on drums, Jonathan Boehm on bass, and Matt Portwood on guitar, Jonathan Crone has taken this project to creative extremes in a desire to express his creativity in a new yet aesthetically appealing way. Winner of several Berklee songwriting awards, an experienced session player, and a full-time engineer and producer in Nashville, Jonathan has combined his knowledge from both areas to attempt to create a sound that intertwines production and performance without an intermediary. Recorded at Dark Horse Recording in Franklin, TN, "Viva La Revolution" is a must have for all lovers of melodic and heavy rock.
