The Indie/Lo-Fi Album of 2007... Executive Producer: God
14 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Power-folk, ROCK: Progressive Rock
Details:
Here it is! The debut album by Spruce Sap, everybody's favorite indie/lo-fi artist.
Written and recorded in a HAUNTED 100-year old church in the SHOPPING-MALL-INFESTED Jersey suburbs, SPRUCE SAP I is a heartfelt, MYSTERIOUS musical diary written and recorded by Filippo Passantino, a Generation-X minister and global adventurer.
Passantino played all the instruments, and some mysterious force cooked them over time and made them into something magical.
Release Date: December 5, 2006.
14 catchy songs show the "Lo-Fi" sound at its most raw and hypnotic. Featuring "SunBoat", "GDFTWinter" and more.
"I'd call it Acid-Folk... we listened to it and our jaws dropped, stunned..." - Gene Myers, Entertainment Editor, Suburban Trends
"This is solstice lightning mysticism folk-rock with ancestral magic... like out of a farm that was a pagan site in New Jersey." - Elliot Passantino, Director, "Season In Hell" horror film
