She Cares?, the follow-up EP to Storm Clouds, finds Spare Part Surgery stretching out a bit from their debut full-length; a new-found adherence to the rock-and-roll canon of guitar-bass-drums-keys fleshes out the sound a bit (even if the drums are still fake), and the recording is a bit cleaner.

Yet the album is still definitively Spare Part Surgery, however, addressing many of the familiar themes: drunken debauchery ("Irish Suntan"), stoned, paranoid love (title track), requited deceit ("Your Second Skin"), and the girl at work who makes it impossible for you to get anything done (a.m. pass-fail).
