March of 2004 a singer/song writer with a beautiful voice crossed path's with a guitarist with the desire to write music and Shorn was created. They started recording immediatly when they came across an aspiring bass player that soon became a permant fixture in the band. Over the next few months they recorded using a studio drummer until one day they found the skin beater who fit in the pocket. Now they play all over the midwest supporting there 1st CD title Saturnalia. It has a variety of different styles of music from fresh guitar driven rock with beautiful vocals to very soft rhythmic acoustic tunes. All in all Shorn is a band with melodic music that has a very powerful message.
