Sharp Tooth Bennyâs new CD, âSlinky Sounds For Reptilian Loversâ, is a nine song original CD released in early March, 2006. Thereâs really something for just about everyone on this album as it covers a lot of musical ground. From straight blues to heavier rock tunes and a few stops in between, a very diverse group of musicians & friends have joined together to form this band and together Sharp Tooth Benny seems able to fill the void our music world has been feeling. You really have to hear these tunesâ¦

While trying to stay true to some tried & true blues-rock principles with sure-to-be hits like, âCadillacâ , âBig Green Lizardâ , âI Never Thoughtâ and âLookerâ, Sharp Tooth Benny has also been able to branch out and include some distinct new musical stylings of their own
with crowd favorites like, âLittle Fishyâ, âThe Morning Songâ, âEverything Girlâ, âThe Gameâ and others.
The boys have also forged a true classic with Truth/Lies/Hate/Love. This type of musical diversity gives the band a truly eclectic appeal that gratifies their audiences and will satisfy you if youâre looking for something different in a blues-rock band.

Sharp Tooth Benny consists of former âSizzleâ front man, Mike McLaury, belting out lead vocals and groovinâ on rhythm guitar. Thereâs also fellow songwriter, Terry Sheppard, previously of âDr. Joyâ, who provides some truly solid bass lines while filling out the vocal harmonies. Well versed former âSaintâs We Ainâtâ axe-slinger, âLittle Manâ Tate Sanderson wails on lead guitar, and talented newcomer Noah âBoom Boomâ Bloom keeps things moving on drums/percussion. Special guest appearances are also made on a couple tunes by the incredible, Tim âThe Teacherâ Fennel of Motus on lead guitar. Mike, Terry and Noah provide a rocking musical foundation to stand on while Tate & Tim fill the grooves with some tasteful yet smokin' leads.

These guys have loved and lossed, been invited to the party and then got tossed, sold the car to keep the guitar, been to the church and passed out at the bar, and bottom line, if the blues are around, Sharp Tooth Benny will soon be found....

These guys also love to have fun and while the band is primarily blues based, the live-shows exhibit an unusual amount of energy and crowds are often treated to a bit of improv and some wackiness. You never know what might happen at a Sharp Tooth Benny showâ¦

Most of Sharp Tooth Benny is currently based in Southern California while band founder, Mike McLaury now resides in Golden, Co. and is working online with âPhat Bâ on more material for the next CD.
