Shem's "SON OF ARTHUR" is an all acoustic recorded CD. It is a tribute to a time when music could only be recorded in such a way. Shem began being involved in music at an early age, observing and working with his father who produced and arranged for artists such as FRANK SINATRA, FRANKIE VALLI, THE LOVIN' SPOONFUL, LAURA NYRO, KENNY RANKIN, etc.... while making a name for himself in the New York jingle industry.

Growing up in a musical family, Shem soon found himself writing and recording his own music in addition to playing bass and singing for such artists as KENNY LOGGINS, LOGGINS & MESSINA, STEVE PERRY, CHRISTOPHER CROSS, TOM JONES, AMBROSIA, MARIE OSMOND and PATTI AUSTIN. "SON OF ARTHUR" is Shem's first release since moving to Los Angeles. It showcases his high, clear vocal range and his virtuosity as a multi-instrumentalist. In addition to being a seasoned songwriter, he also took this opportunity to display his talents as an arranger for symphony orchestra which he will tell you is his first love. "I'm very excited about this CD because I was able to tap into all of my favorite music styles and influences. It has been a very fulfulling experience, creatively."
