Details:
Shepard's Pie is a groove oriented pop group with a roots and soul feel. Based out of Hoboken, NJ, the Pie has developed a repertoire of hard hitting tunes including a full list of cover tunes playing in the New York, New Jersey Area.

Their live shows have also been well recieved in colleges such as Green Mountain College VT, Rutgers Uiversity East Brunswick, Rutgers Univ Newark, Southampton College NY, Ramapo College NJ, College of New Jersey, and many others. They were also featured Union Square Park, NYC at the 2001 Rock-N-Rollerblade's grand fianale show - New York turns the park into a giant outdoor roller rink!

Although "So Lucky" is comprised of all originals, The Pie is currently working on a new album which will include new originals as well as some of the cover songs they've become well known for.

Regarding "So Lucky", the band's funky yet eclectic sound has been described by Jim Testa (of Jersey Beat) in the Jersey Journal:

"Shepard cuts loose with a full-scale funk attack, incorporating silky R&B melodies and satiny vocals..."

"The opening title track energetically kicks things off by quoting a Jimi Hendrix riff, while much of the album invokes the spirit of early Prince with its sexy interplay of male and female vocals, catchy choruses and hooky jams."
