'"an ecclectic mix of hard aggressive action and musicbox charm. in an age of instant satisfaction and consumer whoring, it is all too possible to forget or even discard that which is important."'
about the band -
"subatomicglue creates artistic electronic music with a little industrial/rock influence thrown in. The band aims to keep the music eccentric and original while still keeping a focus to listenable music. And listenable it is... The work tends to be dramatic like a cinematic film score, but loud and energetic like a rock concert. It's a continually evolving contradiction. The music genres represented lean to ambient techno or idm with an industrial/rock flavor varying from song to song, sometimes dipping into acidtrance or dark metal, and more recently ambient industrial or some kind of weird eclectic heavy metal mixed with minimal techno. subatomicglue keeps it original, so you really should hear it to understand."
roots -
"What focused us on electronica in the beginning was orbital and aphextwin. To us, these bands were some of the first to show that electronica could be just as expressive and organic as real live bands and symphonies while adding much much more in terms of sonic texture not available in most live acts. We really connected with the cinematic nature of these types of music that seemed to carry a story without words. On top of the organic nature of the music, they also kept a vibe that was still groovy, danceable, and most important, interesting (dancing was optional if you just wanted to contemplate the music). these ideas inspired us, and are what form the basis and influence of subatomicglue. Moving forward, we also have strong influences from artists ranging from plasticman to nineinchnails. we like to mix many diverse musical ideas all at once."
