Details:
Sugarbeet is a duo consisting of the two brothers, Ulrik and Frederik Suneseen. They write and produce all music themselves. Sugarbeet has existed since 1998, and released their debut album, "Music for Fish" on Excess Records, 2002.

The recordings of Sugarbeets' second album, started in 2003 and were finished this summer (2005), at the Brother Studio in Copenhagen. Kent Olsen did the mixing at the Feedback Studio in Århus. "The Dance" was mixed at C4 Studio by Svend Overgaard. The 12 tracks on the album are all written, performed and produced by Sugarbeet. A number of acclaimed musicians and soloists appear on all tracks; among others Shack, Mission One and Little T (aka Natasja). NCG appears as co-producer of the album.

Sugarbeet themselves describe their music as Club Rock; a crossover between rock-steady, old school hip hop og rock'n'roll. They are inspired by the music they grew up with from the 80'ies and 90'ies, bands such as Duran Duran, Beastie Boys, Happy Mondays, Steel Pulse, Gorillaz and Massive Attack.
