Suzanne's musical life started in Armidale, (NSW) as a toddler sitting at a wooden bench in the kitchen "playing" along with the radio. Later she graduated to the piano next door, picking out songs she had heard by ear. The neighbours must have become tired of her being in there all the time and persuaded her mother to have her taught and buy her her own piano (for the costly sum of 15 pounds!!).
Suzanne released a Christian meditation album of instrumental music in 2005. The music, with influences from Moby to Debussy, is inspired by verses from the bible. The compositions endeavour to catch the spirit of scripture, helping it to permeate the soul.
In 1993 Suzanne went to Christian City Church Creative Arts College in Brookvale (Sydney) to broaden her musical knowledge, to learn more about playing in rock and pop bands and to try and get a little "unclassicafied". She played with a couple of bands that year, and the following few years saw her venture into film scoring - writing for feature length movies such as "The Yowie Man" and "Eloise". Also a fruitful song writing partnership developed with Scott Thomson, their songs winning multiple awards in the Australian Song Writers Competition and Unisong and achieving no 1 status in Garage Band.
With the release this year of "In The Path of Angels", Suzanne has found her own niche - instrumental music with a mixture of influences from Moby to Debussy. The music is inspired by verses from the bible, endeavouring to capture the spirit of the verse in music - helping to permeate the soul with the spirit of God from His Word.
