Suzka is a classically trained violinist/vocalist who followed her heart musically into hip-hop, blues, gypsy jazz, R&B, world and other styles to create songs to express her poetry. Her observations throughout her world travels come out in the lyrics and compositions. A fresh, positive, and reflective album of soulful music that stays away from cliche pop songs and mainstream radio.

Her debut album 'Wake-Up' is an introduction to some of the sounds Suzka has been developing. A blend of violin, vocals ,acoustic guitar, tabla, cello and Mc's over electronic beats compared to sounds of artists such as Massive Attack, Tricky, and Morcheeba. There is a strong emphasis on poetry and everyday life struggles that offers hope and strength to the listener.
Suzka works as a session player with a variety of artists and Mc's from around the world and is currently based in Vancouver, B.C. She is also the violinist/vocalist for world fusion band, Tambura Rasa who has opened up for world guitar virtuosos, Strunz and Farah at the Commodore Ballroom.
