Officially formed in 2001, this modern rock band has a well-rounded mix of influences and personalities. Mike Murphy and Chris Huber met up in the summer of '99, and realized they shared the same dream--to start a rock band. Soon after, they were introduced to the drummer, Dave Pacerâ¦and the band was born. After cycling through a few bass players, they finally landed the worldâs most powerful beanâotherwise known as James Huey. The foursome has been pounding out tunes and living their dreams ever since.

With a large local fan base and a strong passion for their music, Sunny Side Down simply wants their music to be heard--everywhere. Their songs contain meaningful lyrics that many people can relate to.
