Sean Chyun grew up in a musically nurturing Maryland suburb of Washington, DC. He harnessed his rock and roll front man chops being in cover bands while in high school performing Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, U2, and other classic rock. He then attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA for one year but decided to leave the school to pursue his own music full time.
Sean got side tracked in February of 2004 when he was offered a highly competitive modeling contract with Boss Models in New York. While commuting between DC and New York City Sean began writing songs and lyrics that would eventually become his album. After 9 months of modeling he decided to return to his true passion and he invested all his efforts into recording his debut album, Hot Milk. He spent 2 1/2 years testing out many incarnations of the album, testing songs on audiences, and revising and rewriting entire works until he was satisfied.
Hot Milk is the culmination of the on-again off-again writing, and constant revisions Sean put in from 2003 to mid 2005. At the same time he taught himself how to record with no assistance and how to create and release an album all on his own.
Sean plays every instrument and sings every track on all of his recordings. Sean is also the sole writer, producer, and recording engineer for everything he does. Sean is now working on the follow-up album, "Round II" expected at the end of summer 2006. It promises to be a stunning album.
Sean has, musically, been working non-stop for the last three years with no signs of fatigue, or signs of ever stopping. Between work in his studio, writing, and performing, he has fully invested himself into his music and holds nothing back as he strives to achieve sonic perfection in the studio and high octane energy with spontaneous musicality in his live performances.
