Back in the summer of 1997, Paul Scozzari recorded a 3 song demo. The songs were posted on MP3.COM which was supposed to revolutionize the music industry. It's initial public stock offering did more to make artists on its site money than its promotion ever could. And Paul chuckled as he watched MP3.COM's stock shoot through the roof in its first day of trading. Paul cashed out and was left with the feeling that he had indirectly made money from his music.
