When we set out writing VOTE! several years ago, we wanted the challenge of writing a work based solely on original source material with fresh, lively characters relatable to people of all ages. Above all, we wanted it to be educational-to stand for something and mean something. VOTE! is about coming into your own, taking a stab at things in an effort to really be yourself (even if you fail) and how that is an intrinsic part of what it means to be young--and also to be an American.
We could not be happier or more honored to have TUTS take the show and this album on and we are absolutely thrilled at the results!
