Faraz Khan better known by his stage name Kaution, is the very epitome of British Asian music. Breaching the stereotype of the typical urban Asian artist Kaution is breaking musical boundaries with his unique sound. Refusing to be confined by a single genre of music Kautionâs popularity is underpinned by his versatile approach and ability to fuse several unexpected genres of music in a single track.

Kaution started his music career at the age of 15 when he started writing
poems at school. By the age of 16 he was already writing and recording tracks in a makeshift studio in his bedroom. Quickly establishing himself as a talented singer songwriter Kaution began attracting fans from across the country.

In 2008 after appearing on the BBC Asian Network together Kaution featured in the video to "British Asian Street Cultures" song titled "Back in the day" which reached No.4 on the "Channel U" Charts. Later that same year DJ Limelight invited Kaution to appear on the BBC Mic Check Show, battling against another artist live on air. This was the chance Kaution had been waiting for and he did not disappoint, winning all 3 rounds to be crowned the 1st ever Live MC Battle winner on the show.

As Kaution worked with different artists and genres of music his own sound evolved. With the release of his first track âI want you backâ attracting over 74000 hits and counting on YouTube, Kaution had officially arrived and people started taking note of this exciting new talent.

The mixture of raw talent and the ability to stand out from the crowd of street MCâs is what led to Kaution opening for Imran Khan in July 2010 at the Keeping It Indie Entertainment Charity Concert filmed by Sony TV.

Kaution has come a long way in the last 3 years from when he was writing and laying down tracks in his bedroom. Confident with a little unexpected touch of brilliance with itâ¦his unique voice and style has marked this talented youngster for big things. With the support of a new management team and a hotly anticipated album release Kaution is ready to make the world take note of his music.
