This is Steel, Grammy nominated entertainer and member, member of ASCAP (Aikan the Great Publishing) and the owner and sole entertainer on Ellorenz Records for now . . . Some of my music bio; been in the entertainment industry my whole life, from singing backup in gospel groups as a kid, to opening sold-out Carnival shows in Caribbean countries like Trinidad. Started with go-go bands in DC (played trombone) horn n' horn for "Go-Go Lorenzo" in the 80's, took classical voice at George Washington U for better articulation and flow, got into a local DC hip-hop/rap group in the mid-90's under the names "Native Creed" & "Dysfunkshunal Family" , then moved on to alternative rock in Spanish and English with my former band, "Aikan" in Central Cali in the late 90's, early 00's. Contracted in the Caribbean early to mid 00's and first sang jazz at the Hilton ballroom in Trinidad as well as picked up on the local music and formed a soca group called "Cousins Steel & Cortez/CSC" . Released a few CD's there and and made a few local music videos on youtube. Also, have a clothing line, www.ellorenz.com, a positive spiritual self help life coach book, "Love Thy Neighbor" by Chun Ki, and selling "Salsa Sabrosa', www.sabrosafoods.com, to dip your chips in, bell paper based so no heartburn like regular salsa, umm . . . Oh, and I do voiceovers too, all collabs in all genres I'm open too, as long as I feel the instrumentals are tight! Bless . .

This song here, "Easy Way", collab hit came together from an audition I had in North Hollywood in late 2009 for the lead singer/frontman for the Hollywood local legend metal band, Darwens Theory, and this is the song I wrote to some of their music, that went so well, I was invited for a re-tryout, but because of a day job transfer, I was never able to go back and sing with these great guys. But, I promised the producer that one day I would make a radio version of what I sang with them, give us all full credit, and one day rock together again, by popular demand! In the meanwhile, the original drummer, Paul "Darwen", passed away in L.A. last year, may he r.i.p. . .
