Sachiko was born in Japan and raised in Los Angeles. Upon returning to Japan, she graduated from an international high school and works as a bilingual studio singer, narrator and voice-over actress. She has participated in over 200 recording projects, and was chosen as one of the 27 finalist out of 8,000 musicians for the AXIA Artist Audition.
"Somewhere I Know" was written after the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011. The song prays for a world of harmony where people change their values to act for the benefit of mankind. The answer to the future is always within ourselves.
