Details:
Senim Silla (Of Binary Star) Naaman Norris Malaki The Most Hi Dj Bet are Sleeper Cell Records (Formerly Terrorist Records) is a collective of artists/entrepreneurs independently founded and funded for full freedom of expression and creative control of our culture's music and it's longevity. We our underground by choice, in protest of the increasing degradation of not only Rap, but music in general. Mostly due to major record labels, whose only concern is money rather than the art. We refuse to sit idly by and watch the culture that we created, be consumed and commercialized by the same machine that manufactured the "boy band". They've sucked the life out of genre after genre, while lining their own pockets; and after they've finished their parasitic agenda, what's left? Meaningless songs and soulless music. Anyone who attacks you should be viewed as an enemy; and Sleeper Cell's perception of the industry is exactly that.

We are here to change the course of music, to pull Hip Hop out of it's declining state. To tear down color barriers, class structures, religion, and any other thing that separates one human being from the other. We're not thinking of just ourselves; we're taking the youth into consideration, and the ones behind them. More and more of our children are brainwashed everyday by the TV and Radio. Forced into this "Thug" or "Pimp" mentality so much that the next couple of generations are lost, unable to see it any different. For this we hold the industry liable, in contempt as we do the media for Pac and Biggie's deaths.

Our goal is to build an alternative market and self-sufficient industry. Utilizing the internet while still unregulated, to promote free thinking and freedom of choice amongst the masses. So people are not just limited to TV and Radio, letting programmers dictate the shows they watch or the music they listen to. To network and bridge the gaps ill-constructed by social and moral standards; while undermining fraudulent and malevolent authorities.

We don't expect for anyone to support our thinking; we know that most won't. We come from a different time, a different mindset. Some would call us "Hip Hop Extremists"; This isn't at all far from the truth. Sleeper Cell is to Hip Hop, as the Sufi is to Islam. We're not advocates of violence, yet we're not pacifists. You come at us wrong, and we'll come back at you in the most wicked of ways. When people hear the words Sleeper Cell, they think terrorism. We're fine with this negative connotation; we are terrorists. Prepared and willing to fight or die for the cause.
