This project accumulated like a cloud in my subconscious. I had just started keeping a dream journal again when I found out that we were having a baby. I was having all these really odd dreams with music in them. The worlds in them were so vivid; I kept thinking back on them after I woke up. I even started to try to go into my dream state on purpose, through something called hypnagogia. Luckily, I was able to capture some of the dream images, feelings, and musical fragments that were floating around inside of me as I wrote the album. In the end, I think the project really took on the color and mood of what I was going through at the time.
