A native Cape Codder, Sarah started playing at the First encounter Coffee House and other venues in 1974. A Berklee Collage of Music alumni, she played many Boston Clubs in the eighties and nineties. A nationally acclaimed artist she has performed throughout the Northeast and has opened for many well known artists including Jesse Colin Young, Richard Shindell and Ferron. Her amazing lyrics and vocal expertise put her at the forefront of performers in the folk/rock genre. She has recorded with Ric Okasek, released an EP with her then band uncertain Terms and her early nineties CD âStained Glass" received national air play and rave reviews. Sarah is excited to announce the release of her new CD " If By Chance". Produced by Greg Greenway, it is a brilliantly crafted collection of songs that reveal a versatile and gifted singer/song writer. Guest appearances by Patty Larkin and Greg Greenway accent Burrills performances beautifully. Her music has been described as both introspective and light-hearted. Her art is inspiring and life affirming. Her performance is a celebration of life that is not to be missed.
