Sachee's musical experiences began by performing with the Repertory Dance Theatre as the lead drummer in Trinidad, West Indies. They toured Mexico, France, Haiti, Jamaica, United States, Trinidad and Tobago. His older brother Gerald inspired him. Gerald is the founder and director of his musical group, "The Village Drums of Freedom". It was then Sachee became motivated and self-taught in a variety of instruments such as the steel pan, jimba, log drum, talking drum, conga, bongo, shekere, bass guitar, keyboards and percussions.
Sachee performed with several top bands in Trinidad & Tobago such as Carl and Carol Jacobs, Fireflight, Charlie's Roots, Kalynn and Chandelier. In 1987 Sachee meet the late legendary producer and songwriter Keith Diamond. Sachee worked with Keith Diamond as a percussionist; drum programmer and studio musician on several songs Keith Diamond produced. Keith Diamond inspired David to become a songwriter. Sachee's accomplishments are one disco 45 - Getting in the Grove, one mini album Monday Night Mass and Drug Situation written in 1988. Soca Tassa and Old Time Jam were written in 1996.
