Description:
Drum Lesson No. 2 (Level = Beginner)
In this drum lesson we are playing a basic drum groove with various hi hat patterns. The hi hats need to be played with the shoulder of the drum stick when playing quarter notes, or crotchets, then this changes when playing eighth notes and sixteenth notes playing hand to hand with the tip of the drum stick.
We are playing the bass drum on beats 1+3 as our downbeats and the accented snare drum on beats 2+4 as our backbeats.
