So you want to know who Sam Look is and what his music is all about?

First things first, I am all about honesty. Thatâs right I said the word I. We all know I am writing the bio! This time I am not writing my bio in 3rd person. I want to keep everything as real and honest with you as possible. Tha is what this album is all about.

I am growing as an artist and writing music that moves me and others in a positive way.
"Lessons" is maturation and growth as a person and as an artist for me. It rocks, its reflective, it's diverse, and its honest.

It was written with the intention of helping myself and others to deal with problems. I wanted to have a way to deal with my own struggles and hurts and I believe this album helps me. If it helps me hopefully it helps you.

This album is about love and dedication to my wife, curing the hurts I felt as a child, and remembering the times when friendship was all I had. Itâs for anyone who misses the guitar solo, and its for anyone who wants to feel good about life! It intentionally has a retro vibe to it because that is the type of music I love!

In 2003, I released âMe Against Myself which was essentually a demo album.â It was released and funded independently and it was the start of what apears to be a lifelong musical journey for me.

In 2005, I met Rodney Gene, an independent producer based out of Austin Texas. We decided to work on a full length album that included 4 reworked songs off MAM and 7 new tracks. Thus far the album has won 1st place in three song contests at www.freemymusic.com.

I am a 28 year old singer/songwriter who was raised in Woodbridge VA and now live near Santa Barbara CA. I have spent almost 10 years on active duty in the Air Force.

My musical goal is to incorporate the sounds of arena rock, and modern day Christian rock with splashes of country. Those influences are from artists such as Bon Jovi, Creed, Styx, Def Leppard, Pillar, Jeremy Camp, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Kutless.

"Lessons" is everything I wanted. It is full of love and hope. It is positive, uplifting, and IT ROCKS!!!

I fulfilled a lifelong dream writing this album. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
