Simpatico, reveals simple truths that surround us but that we often overlook. Sara's lyrics gently crumble the shallow constructions of modern life leaving the listener in a place of deeper meaning.
9 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Modern Folk, FOLK: like Joni
Details:
Sara Pace is a singer-songwriter currently based in Madison, Wisconsin. She grew up in Central Iowa, in a home filled with the music of Dylan, Prine, and Elton John, to name only a few. Her life has taken her from the cornfields to the big cities, and now to something a little in-between.
Sara's second album, "Sara Pace, Simpatico" was release in late 2005. "After The Storm", the first song on Simpatico, is a song about journey and it features the beautiful guitar work of Willy Porter, whom Sara and co-producer Lance Ketterer share a friendship with. Willy graces this tune with 6 & 12 string acoustic guitar, as well as a 6 string electric gretsch hollowbody.
The final cut on the album, "Out of the Blue" was selected as September 2005 feature song on the One to Watch segment of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Acoustic Café with Rob Reinhart.
