Singer/songwriter, Sarah Castillo is 23 years old and has the world at her feet.
Her voice best described as alluring and unmistakably unique - add a dust of power ballad..a little blues...and the combination becomes original and fresh. There is no artist that sounds similar to Sarah in terms of tone but think of her style and vocal ability as Mariah Carey meets Alicia Keys, Celine Dion...and a touch of Karen Carpenter to bring it back to earth.
An emotive vocalist and lyricist, Sarah has been singing professionally since age 13 and songwriting since she was 15. In 2001 Sarah approached fellow Australian recording artist Dave Dwyer (ex 1927 and Ian Moss band) with her superb vocal abilities. A solid song co-writing team was immediately established.
A selection of Sarahâs songs were featured on Warner Chappell Australiaâs national and international samplers during 2003 and 2004. With already an extensive catalogue of tracks, Dave and Sarah continue to shop their works to national & international artists.
In October 2005, Sarah was chosen from 1000âs of entries across Australia and was invited to perform alongside 4 other MusicOz Competition entrants in Sydney. MusicOz is the premier annual unsigned artist competition in Australia.

This is Sarah Castillo's first studio EP and was produced in 2005 by acclaimed Australian record producer, Phil Rigger, with Dave Dwyer featured on guitars and lending his songwriting and arrangement skills.
