FLORIDA BLUES (Burning Disk BD005) is the latest CD from Florida native, Bill Wharton, AKA The Sauce Boss. His best work from 1989 through 2004, the disc is slide guitar blues. It features: Lucky Peterson, Kenny Neal, Pat Ramsey, Bob Greenlee, Tony Coleman, The Kingsnake Studio Band, and Whartonâs band, The Ingredients. The Sauce Boss appeared along side Jimmy Buffett on the âLate Nite Menu at the Margaritaville CafeÌâ CD with âLet the Big Dog Eatâ and âGreat Big Fannyâ. âLet the Big Dog Eatâ was also featured in Jonathan Demmeâs movie, âSomething Wildâ. Buffett later wrote âI Will Play for Gumboâwith a verse about the Sauce Boss and his Gumbo show.
