Drum Lesson No. 8 (Level = Beginner)
In this drum lesson we are playing a rudiment called single strokes through sixteenth notes playing on the snare drum. Aiming for an even flow of notes and playing the hi hat with the foot on the quarter note.
When playing this rudiment we need to accent various notes to gain more control - this will help with the other aim which is to be able to play this rudiment at much faster tempos.
