Who Is Shawn Smith?

Shawn Smith is a Child of God, and a full-time performing songwriter and keynote speaker. Shawn performs over 100 concerts and keynote talks per year at churches, youth gatherings, camps, and conferences all over the country. Shawn has produced and recorded seven studio albums of original music and many live recordings over the past 10 years of ministry.

After graduating from college with a degree in teaching from the University of Michigan, Shawn felt the call to hit the road as a solo artist and toured nearly non-stop for five years, averaging 200-300 days/year on the road. During this time Shawn toured through nearly every state in the US, and performed hundreds of concerts and worship services at churches, youth gatherings, camps, schools, conferences, retreats, and Lutheran potluck dinners as a solo artist.

Today, Shawn can be found boarding a plane on most weekends bound for a youth gathering, conference, or series of concerts somewhere in the US to share his music and stories of faith. In the summer months, you'll find Shawn either on the road touring camps, churches, festivals and gatherings, or overseas on a mission trip with a group of teenagers and adults building or repairing homes, schools, or hospitals. Shawn currently resides in West Palm Beach, FL.
