Dr. Steiner attempted, throughout his life, to bridge the gap between what was, at the time, viewed as science and what was, at the time, view as occultism or mysticism. One of the most admirable things about Dr. Steiner's writings was the candor in which he viewed "Western thought". While many who study occultism, even today, try to discount the purely 3-dimensional thinking of the West with all the limits it puts on man, Dr. Steiner states that there is some truth and validity to this line of thought and that it has taken us up to a certain point of progress and so must be acknowledged.

This book covers, in depth, Dr. Steiner's views on the nature of man, sleep and death, the perception of the Higher Worlds and much more. Any fan of the Dr.'s work needs to have this book as part of their collection...and if you're not already a fan of Steiner's, by the time you finish the first chapter - you will be.
