In this drum lesson we are playing half time blues grooves using the ride cymbal and playing with an eighth note motion and keeping the hi hats on the quarter note. adding ghost notes and some eighth note triplets on the snare drum and bass drum to create polyrhythms.
Playing a blues drum fill after each bar of our blues groove we are playing sixteenth note triplets and using various phrases around the drum kit.
