In this drum lesson we are playing a samba foot ostinato - the first and last sixteenth note of each beat on the bass drum and the hi hats on the '+' of each beat.
Playing a sub-division of sixteenth note triplets over the top of this and playing in three time signatures we are phrasing various rudiments on the snare drum and when comfortable improvising them around the drum kit.
